Yakubu Nyeapa is CIVIC’s Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Officer based in Nigeria. He is a passionate and dedicated professional with diverse experience in data interpretation and analysis focused on meaningful results-based outputs that depict project delivery meeting donor expectation. Yakubu has over five years of progressive experience working with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sets to determine key meaningful inputs, outputs, and outcomes which communicate project delivery within the specified timeline on a periodic basis. Prior to joining CIVIC he worked with FHI360, IRC, and Plan International.
Yakubu is proficient in survey design, field data collection, and reporting – which includes (but is not limited to) baseline, midline, end line, market surveys, post distribution monitoring, exit interviews, need assessments, feedback assessments, knowledge management audits, and price monitoring. Over the years, Yakubu has developed sound familiarity with donor reporting systems which include those used by WFP, EU, NHF, OFDA/ USAID, ECHO, DFID, SIDA, GAC, and SV.
Yakubu obtained his first degree in Human Anatomy and his Master’s in Health Planning and Management, both from the University of Maiduguri. He is currently working toward a PhD in Public Health at Texila American University.
