Patrick Makles is a Partnerships Manager for Governments and Multilaterals at Center for Civilians in Conflict (CIVIC), based in Washington, DC. Prior to joining CIVIC, he worked with InterAction’s Humanitarian Policy and Practice team as an intern and consultant. Other previous experience includes programmatic work with refugee, asylee, and immigrant youth at Soccer Without Borders, as well as, AmeriCorps service with youth development organizations across the United States. Patrick holds a Master of Arts in International Relations and Economics from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies from Loyola University Maryland.
