Noémie is the Africa Program Manager at CIVIC. Most recently, she worked at Vital Voices, a women’s empowerment and leadership organization, leading the human rights programs in Africa.
Prior to joining Vital Voices, Noémie worked at Oxfam America, an international development and humanitarian NGO, for five years. Holding various positions on the Research and Policy, Extractive Industries, and Financing for Development teams, Noémie represented Oxfam at the United Nations Headquarters in NYC and the UN Economic Commission on Africa in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Noémie holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, where she specialized in International Security and Gender Policy. She also has a Master of Public Policy from the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin, Germany, and a BA from Boston College in Communication and African studies.
