Monica Zuraw is a Communications Associate with the Center for Civilians in Conflict (CIVIC), where she works to establish connections with target audiences and create thoughtful and targeted communications strategies to spread CIVIC’s messaging among policy makers, governments, militaries, communities, multilateral institutions, and fellow civil society organizations in an effort raise awareness, spread critical information, encourage specific actions and policy decisions, and boost organizational development.

Prior to joining CIVIC, she worked as an Advocacy Associate with Americans for Democracy & Human Rights in Bahrain (ADHRB) where she served as the organization’s Congressional liaison, developed international advocacy campaigns, and created and managed a wide range of communications. Monica earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations with a focus on Society and Security and the Middle East from Brown University.
