Mohammad Emal Aslami serves as the Program Officer at CIVIC Afghanistan. Emal has worked for international and national organizations for over seven years. Prior to joining CIVIC, he rendered his services in the capacity of Organizational Development and Reform Advisor at the Afghan Ministry of Transport. Emal has worked as a Human Resource and Gender Advisor and then as a Deputy Team Lead, Organizational Capacity Building Section, supporting Afghanistan Justice Sector Support Program (JSSP-PAE) funded by U.S. Department of State, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs /INL. Emal also worked as a Human Resource Manager at Afghanistan Investment Agency (AISA) and as an HR Officer at CARE International in Afghanistan.

Aslami obtained a Master Degree (M.A) in Public Policy from Swansea University, United Kingdom, through the International Chevening Scholarship in 2018. Emal completed a bachelor degree program in Business Administration (B.B.A) from Goa University, through I.C.C.R Scholarship of the Indian government in 2010.
