Julie is Research and Advocacy Associate with CIVIC’s US Program. Julie was a program manager and research associate in the Human Rights Initiative at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), with a primary focus on the human rights and security nexus, protections and rights for LGBTI persons, and countering all forms of extremism. She is a graduate of the College of William & Mary and an adjunct fellow with CSIS.
