Chitra is the Senior Advisor leading CIVIC's programs in Borno, North East Nigeria, supporting civil-military relations, training, research, and advocacy to prevent and address civilian harm in the ongoing conflict. Chitra has spent almost 15 years working in programming, policy and advocacy in China, Guinea, Liberia, Myanmar, Nigeria, São Tomé and Príncipe, and Sierra Leone.
